Poem 101 – Write Me a Letter

5824714049_0eaa23af67_z

Write me a letter, one from you

In which you paint me pictures

In your words, of you and love,

Of places far away, where dreams come true.

Make your words sing to me

Lullabies long forgotten.

Make your words dance for me

Of stars that shine and glimmer

Eternally, like the ones in your heart.

I want to smell the roses you grow,

Run my hands through fields of grass

The ones you see, the places you walk.

It’s only through your words that I come alive

For I have been stone far too long

Now I feel an awakening, a stirring inside

From nothing to hope to something,

That from beyond my horizon,

Your words will float my way

Taking me with you, I can ask no more.

There’s SomeTHING I Want to Tell You–dVerse Meeting the Bar – Shower

456150-6

I approach you each day, full of expectation

You are a rare constant in my life.

In anticipation of desire I reach for you.

My hand manipulates and turned you on.

I await your touch, knowing your caress

Will sooth my tired and weary body.

With the sweetest of touches

Your warmth gushes over me

I am reborn, cleansed, made new.

My face I place in your hands

You re-energise, renew my aching bones

Rejuvenation complete, I am sated.

A little water is all I need

Washing my soul your heavenly deed.

OpenLinkNight ~ Week 133 – Package

Woman_Wrapped_in_Silence_by_mikey_madness

Arriving on my doorstep,

A package wrapped in silence

Begging to be opened.

Words flowed forth.

Not just any meaningless words

But a language of love, of affection.

I take it into my arms

Allow it to wrap around me

Carry me into its nuances.

Mentions of long nights,

Moments of endless night

When dawn is a far off event.

I embrace the warmth it exudes

My mind wanders to places far off

Where time ceases to matter.

With hands locked in unity

I bath in the silence

Finding my solace.

Haibun Thinking Week 5 – Winter’s Chill

This week I have chosen this prompt for my entry:

“Don’t forget – I’m just a girl, standing in front of a boy, asking him to love her.”
– Notting Hill

 Birmingham

I didn’t think you would keep me waiting like this. The winter winds chill me as I stand waiting at our appointed destination. I have travelled all day to be here and now I look through biting winds, the trees skeletal around me, token guards protecting nothing, allowing nature to play havoc with my comfort. Rightfully I am wondering why I am here, my bones chattering as I struggle to keep warm, the promises you made are now a mockery of all that is decent, a sham, a humiliation I am realising is all your doing. I pull my coat closer against the assaults of the winds icy needles. I didn’t ask for much but you have literally left me out in the cold.

Winter chills my soul

Standing in desolation

Your rebuff now felt

Poem 100 – Tingles

untitled-main_Full

They come to you daily

Same with me,

They occur when you least expect,

Same with me.

The buzz is exciting, awakening

Same with me

We are suddenly back

Teenage years, giggling

Embarrassed coy, shy,

More curious by the day.

I have been feeling them

Same with you

They hit me in places dormant

Same with you

I am feeling alive, vibrant, playful

Same with you.

We are standing tongue-tied

Enamoured by each other

Our hands slip together

Rejoicing in newfound energy.

You can’t wait to chat again

Same with me

Your words are like magic

Same for me

You have accepted me as I am

Same for me

We sit across a table

Acquaintances momentarily

Hands, eyes, lips, unite

We are together, dreams realised.

You tell your story

Same with me

You cry of past hurt

Same with me

You want to know me

Yes!

Sunday Photo Fiction – Sentinels.

47-02-february-16th-2014

This is a great job. When I was a chick my mother said my boy you are destined to follow in the claws of those males in our family before you. You will grace the lawns, standing sentinel over the precious grasses where no human is to ever step. So my fate was sealed at a young age. The pays ok and I have over the years moved up the ranks. You notice my rings, the ones around my ankles. Red symbolises Raven First Class. Better than the prissy pink ones the recruits have to wear. I hated that year, constant abuse and ridicule over the pink. But it did toughen me up.

Then there’s the green the second years wear, that’s not too bad, but every one has an ambition to achieve the gold bands of course.

The gold is the top of the pecking order. We all aspire to reach the gold. My dad was a gold, my brother Errol is a turquoise. One step below gold.

This job is a proud tradition in our family.

Sorry have to be off there’s a kid over there about to drop his ice cream on the sacred grass. CAW! CAW!

Prompt 43 Supernatural Lust – Energy

blueenergyballcopy

I have awoken again and sense you are here. I know I cannot see you yet, I know from before that you need to warm me up as you say, tune me to your desires before I can fully comprehend your presence. In doing so you are taking my energy to create your own sense of being.

Right now your light is but a pinprick as I watch you beginning to physicalize. You are a light that spins before me I feel myself begin to warm, you are able to penetrate my brain as I know its within my cortex that you will most take delight.

My clothes fall away as I watch you grow, your light is now clearly visible as it begins to spin around the room at first in fits and starts but before long it is zooming, my eyes unable to focus as they are mesmerised by the glow and the movement I am feeling myself as hypnotised.

I am naked upon my bed, you are hovering above me, your sense of self begins to caress and glide over me but I know you are not physically doing so but extending your energy onto me. You are heightening my body, I am feeling more and more aroused, my body convulses with pleasures never before dreamt of, sensations beyond this world.

You move over me with increasing energy, I gasp in pleasure I feel my whole self being lifted off the bed, every pore of my skin is alive to your touch your energy I am feeling faint as I now feel you enter me my breath draws in my head feels about to explode as pleasures unknown surge through me head to toe not once but as an enduring pleasure from which you take my desire my energy my lust as your trophy.

I am back on my bed. My body glistening from your lust. I am sated, I look for you and see that now you are glowing ball at the end of my bed, a pulsing ball of expended energy that moves through a series of blues and reds and greens as you are plainly extracting all you need to satisfy your own supernatural lust. Finally that moment I marvel at, your energy contacts, momentarily then explodes in a shower of light and stars that fills my room with a glitter like I have never witnessed before. My breath taken away another wave of ecstasy sweeps over me and I am floating again in the physical release you again give me.

I awaken as dawn breaks over the horizon, my flesh still damp, I breath in the morning air, my mind is still with you, lusting already for your return.

D’verse Poetics: COming off the sugar high – Content.

man-swimming-cardio-main

I ride into your eyes

Lights become stars

Stars new worlds

Exploration, discovery, gasp!

I have swum in your pool

No fear of drowning

Your hands guide me

Maintain my stroke, my rhythm.

In rest I am happy,

Sated

Safe in knowledge,

Content in action.

Days with My Son.

2014-02-12 17.06.03

I  have spent the past two days working with my son on  a mural on the outside of the Newcastle Art Gallery.

It has been the most rewarding of days, being with him again is such a treat for me. To work with him on such a huge project is just so humbling. He is incredibly tolerant of my very basic artistic ability.

I began with strict instructions to do only the straight lines, for how can you stuff up a straight line, believe me you can.

If you look closely you will see that one section has a weave pattern,(see bottom image)  my job was to place in the small vertical and horizontal lines to create the weave effect. Small straight lines they were. Only stuffed up a few. Though that is the beauty of paint, you can paint over and do it again.

With Thursday dawning and only  day and a half remaining we worked hard yesterday with the help of three other people who came to help.

Now it is finished. It looks spectacular.

On Saturday an exhibition opens at the gallery featuring two of his works, a quilt and a new piece they have recently acquired.

I am needless to say very proud of his achievements. You check out his art at:

Poem 99 – Discovery

6833032_holding-hands

I see you across the way

Apprehensive. I understand

After all what are you daring?

It may turn out a fizzer

It may turn out not.

I had a dream in which

You stood before me, hands out

Extending me your love, your care

I took one hand, then another,

You drew me to you.

We talked, my ogre status you ignored

Enamoured, engaged, enthralled

Time flew, minutes to hours

Eyes focused, hearts beating

We were as two minds as one.

Space no longer an issue

Tearing away hurts

But time dictates, rules the universe

You sound more confident

I didn’t bite, you’re not regretful

You discovered me.
