Write your words
I missed them today
Your metaphors
Images vivid
Take me with you
Your journey is mine.
It was sunny, fine and warm
Our picnic planned
The basket packed
Freshness
Hope
Your journey is mine.
Beside the stream
We lay back, well fed,
Your back against mine
We joked,
We laughed
Your journey is mine.
Later they came
News never so good
Now I have your back
Strong, safe
Reassured
Your journey is mine.
In the face of destruction
Never a thought
No giving up
Determined
Committed
Your journey is mine.
Years later we reflect
Having rebuilt a life
Now we are many
Our children
Community
Your journey was ours.

Now that’s really nice. A good journey. A good life.
Thank you Jackie one would hope so.
Beautiful journey described here… from new beginnings in love to the creation of something amazing and deeply connecting – Agape Love.

Thank you for reading Lou. Hope you are having a good day, not too humid up your way?
Everyone in the family is quite sick actually – except for me, though everyone has had lunch (if they could eat it) and has been medicated with antibiotics, steroids, Ventolin and paracetamol…
Has been a little humid weather wise…
How about down your way?
Lovely day sunny but humid, then again it’s like this at this time of year. I am well. I am now days spared the sickness of children though my kids are quick to tell me when the gkids are unwell.
Such a romantic you are, a lovely journey and the reps work well.
Thank you so much Jenny happy you thought so.

This is lovely, Michael. You’ve really captured the journey(ies). Did you do the drawing/pastel? It’s wonderful, and SO Australian!
Sadly Dawn I did not do the drawing, mine efforts would have the colour but not the shape. Thank you so much for visiting and your comment, I must get out more into blog land. Lovely to see you. I hope you are well.
