You have touched my soul
Your words sit eloquently within me
I am enamoured by what you say
You reach out, I respond
I am fortunate I know.
You have touched my soul
When I least expected it
What began in innocence?
Is now full of expectation
Hope, anticipation.
You have touched my soul
In ways never touched
Every utterance excites me
Beyond all measure
I live for you next word.
You have touched my soul
You have resurrected me
Given me purpose, intention
Shown me love as never before
I await your next affirmation.
You have touched my soul
Made plain to me your love
Made plans, dreams, of fun and games
Moments created we both long for
One day my love, one day.

Thank you so much Georgia, yours is a lovely comment.
🙂 welcome … there is so much to say about this poem …
Such as?
Repeating the first line creates harmony, and I like the evolution from words eloquently said to feelings of love and passion…the feeling of anticipation which you’ve created through every utterance … creating the feeling of ressurection, purpose and intention. A wonderful exercise in expressing the birth of a new romance.
Georgia that is the most beautiful comment I am very humbled that you see so much in my words. Thank you so much.

Did you photoshop those buns?
Na, it’s as you see them Larry. Nature is kind to some.
It’s all a matter of taste. That’s a bit too much for me. I’m a fan of flat-bottomed girls! LOL!
Well Larry we all have our preferences thank you for sharing yours…lol
