Some days are so hectic
All these children
Why I ask myself?

Wait till he gets home.
Just a moment’s peace is all I ask.

LOL! This is hysterical Michael and you even included several of us in your poem haha I could not imagineprocessmaintainsanity with that many kids. One is a handful. I have mine all week school break and one is a handful
Hmm well I had six and it was often like I depicted. Happy it made you laugh.
6 wow Michael that must have kept you busy
Children bring so much joy and chaos
Chaos when they were little joy now.
That is wonderful to hear =)
Life is wonderful now, they have their own families now. Eight gkids come September.
That’s awesome Michael congrats XD
Lol she should learn contraception, very good
Too late when they set all around your feet Justine. Thanks for reading my work.
Lol true
Bwahahahahahahahaha!
‘Candice stop picking your nose… ‘ LOLOLOLOL
It sounds like you were going perfectly, absolutely undeniably insane!
Thanks Lou. Yes there were times when it felt very much like that. Thankfully they have all grown up and my life is mine now. But for a long time it was a magical mystery ride.
I know what you mean!! When I have time to actually sit down and think about it, it never makes sense, so just keep going 🙂
Well it’s all you can do.
Being on Granma duty this week I can certainly relate. At least I go home in six days and counting. 🙂 You painted a vivid picture and the sound was just right.
Thank you Kim, six days and counting eh. I know when my kids come round now with their families I always love seeing them but also seeing them go home is sometimes sad sometimes glad. Usually my house settles back into its normal quiet.
Hahahahh….This one was funny Michael. A bit scary with all those kids. I loved it. And including some of your faithful readers, too clever. 🙂
Thanks Jackie, happy you found it so. I included my readers? Must be sheer coincidence.
Love this, Michael. Especially the turn at the end. The paragraphs of words running together were very effective. I think we can all relate to some aspects of this.
Thanks Karen, happy you could connect. Have a good day.
You made me laugh..did I have to clean up Brian? Smiles. Very creative and very true!
Ah yes some friends names turned up in this one coincidence I am sure.
Oh Michael, this is TOO funny!! You have captured the thoughts of many mums. You had me laughing out lout at work. Great piece!!
Thank you Oliana very happy it gave you a laugh.
Lol…love it and you help me understand so much about my poor mom…we were six and I think we frazzeled her at times. Like this style, something experimental and original from the beginning to end. Lovely read!
Thanks Georgia happy you found this entertaining.
Certainly did!
