SoCS Sept. 1/18 – round

stream-of-consciousness-saturday-2018-19

Round

The satnav announced we were to turn right at the roundabout and take the third exit.

When we reached our destination, she turned and said: “See you round like a rissole.”

I asked her if she was sure she lived around here.

She replied she did and to come around anytime I needed company.

So, I turned my car around and headed home.

On the way, I stopped at the bakery and bought six round bread rolls as I was planning my lunches for the week ahead. I also bought six round slices of ham and carried them from the shop around the corner and into my car.

On the way out of the car park, I saw a hole on the road, it was round and deep, the car in front drove into it and disappeared into an abyss which must have been around sixty feet deep.

At last, I arrived home and unpacked my shopping. I settled down in front of the television and considered that in a roundabout way my day had been ok.

By reading this I deduce that you have been around a bit *titters* Rissole … I haven’t heard of a Rissole since I was around the playground. You made me giggle Michael.😄

It seems that you have good-sized potholes in your roads. I am impressed. Maybe we should swap photos 😄

This reminds me of a saying my husband used, “see ya round like a toilet seat” amusing the little kids a lot!😂
