Today’s things are: cobra, goose, cherry pie

When Angelo the Reptile man came to the school Miss Teresa was beside herself with worry. She was not concerned about the various reptiles getting out but what we might be planning.

So, she tried to bribe us with a promise of having cherry pie after Angelo had gone.

But she didn’t need to be concerned about us. Angelo put on a great show. He had us in the palm of his hand, his stories were riveting.

The one he told about the goose and the cobra will stay with me forever, his description of the fight to the death between the two creatures was as vivid as anything I’d seen on the National Geographic channel.

BTW, the cherry pie was out of this world.
