The old ball and chain was not happy.
She stood there, hands on hips.
She expected another feeble excuse.
So waited for me to offer some ludicrous explanation
Knowing I’d cop a belt around the ears, both verbal and physical.
It wasn’t my fault I said, it was the cat, it made me do it. (280 characters)
