100 Word Wednesday: Week 64 – Chapman the Druid

Chapman loved flaming torches. As a founding member of the Morpethroad Druids Are Us, he looked forward to his annual ceremonial tribute to all things druidish.

He practised a lot; standing in the grotto at the bottom of the garden his flaming torch outlining the silhouette of the place he knew held magical qualities.

This coming Friday was going to bring with it a rare blue moon. In the appropriate helmet and ceremonial attire, Chapman knew this was going to be a memorable night.

He wished he had more members, but he’d make do with just himself and his torch.

  5. Michael, I can see the Two Beards “standing” next to Chapman and bolstering the Druids are us membership numbers prior to bolting off for a bite to eat.
