Tale Weaver – #165 – March 29 – Longing

I long for your love

When least suspecting

It brushes past me

Caressing my soul in the subtlest of ways.

The passing smile, the words of encouragement,

The giggle at my folly

The helping hand to fix another stuff up.

The notes I find where a gentle kiss

Reminds me you are near.

Finding you wrapped round me

On the coldest of nights

Your warm feet my human hot water bottle.

The engaging pillow talk,

Your patience when you try to explain

An issue that bothers you.

Your smile when you return with your brewed cup-a-joe.

We love to disengaged from the turmoil in the world

By sitting at the back fence watching the ducks

Strut in ownership the creek and all surrounding it.

I long for together moments

Nestled into each other

Just you and me.
