Thursday photo prompt – Between #writephoto – The Between

between

It was a normal day as across the Between as the Promites, and the Protites went about their daily business.

Insults were exchanged, threats made, and men and women prepared themselves for a war which they all knew would never happen but was a lot of fun to think about.

The Promites were proud of their upper body strength and had gyms dotted along the border of their land where the Protites could watch and wonder at the obvious strength and muscular beauty of the Promites, who enjoyed posturing on their side in full view of their opponents.

The Protites were a small and vocal people. They didn’t have any gyms and were, for the most part, a scrawny grubby rabble who liked to shout a lot and drop their pants when they thought they had nothing else to say.

The Promites were always disgusted with the antics of the Protites and threated on a daily basis to cross the Between and wipe them out.

The Protites for their part thought the Promites a pretentious mob with not a lot happening in their brains and were thankful the Between existed as it kept them well away.

So as I said, it was a normal day across the Between.

Sounds a bit like Federal Politics 😀 Without the dropping of pants…oh wait, no that happens too 🙄

  2. Iain Kelly says:

The US Senate, The UK Parliament… it fits them both, and probably most political houses! Nice satire.

Sounds like a typical day in Washington, DC. Well done!

  4. Sue Vincent says:

    Nicely done… though a tragic tale, 😉
