Poetry Prompt 60 – Sixty – I Love you

write-a-poem-which-contains-exactly-sixty-words

Sixty words nothing more

No mindless banter

No wasted thought

Make each word

Every pithy pertinent point

Relevant, precise

Metaphorical issues

Laid out for those academically inclined.

Make it simple

For that’s how I roll.

Simple words from a simple man

But no matter how you see it

There are only three words need to be said

I love you.

Wonderful Michael. You stayed within the prompt and said what you wanted to say very well.
