Sounds like my upcoming summer holidays with the kids…
That’s what I love about Dadaist poetry – leaves so much room for interpretation or not, as the case may be, as your fancy takes you.
Thanks Marina believe it or not it’s about my day today. My first work day for the year.
Sounds like a fun thing to do (Hairspray) though I read from your comment that its your first work day for the year ~ Make the best of it, smiles ~
Thank you Grace. It’s was fun.
Interesting … impressionism – It certainly has a certain flow to it? Read you’re back at work … have a great year!
Thanks Georgia, work was a once only event, thankfully…..lol
Hopefully then, it was a pleasant event, but by the thankfully, I’m not so sure!
It reassured me Georgia that I don’t miss working.
Now that is a good thing actually, means you’re adjusting well to your new life. I think anyway you probably have so many resources at your disposition, that “work” in the classical sense isn’t the be all that it is for some people.
True Georgia, some things I love to do others I can leave.
Spoken with wisdom.
I received it with old age.
Ah … that explains it!
whoa…i could use $260 an hour…ha…elvis is a fun one to impersonate…travel light french girl…hairspray pshhhhhhhhh….ozone fur balls….hey, watch the shoving….all tailed bipeds to the right, please.
You sum it all up so well Brian. Thanks for reading.
and you as well.
and so you enjoyed my friend?
In a manner of speaking yes.
dunno why exactly but i loved the hairspray in the close…. gives it some nice flavour…smiles
Thank you Claudia it’s actually a reference to the musical hairspray.
This felt to me like stream of consciousness poetry, which clearly fits into the whole Dadaist realm of expression. Nicely done.
Thank you Victoria. I have seen dada theatre which can be odd and confronting. This was a great exercise.
For some reason I hear “Money for nothing” by Dire Straits playing when I read this.. especially the video…
Thanks Bjorn, I must check that out.
I missed you so much today… if the above was your day then this line is even sweeter.
Thank you so much happy you liked it.
I missed you so much today – really the most important words of the day! Well done on getting through the Dada day!
Thank you Freya some days are more dada than like to admit to.
A life flashing before the eyes….dada style. 🙂
Thank you so much Carrie, appreciate you comment.
Seems a lot impacting on the day’s events. You have it all made with things to do. It may be indicative for the year. Good thoughts!
Hank
Thanks Hank there was a lot in the day.
Sounds like a busy day…
Busy but always a good day RoSy.
I worked till almost 9pm today. The good thing is that I was working from home. So- I did catch a few nice breaks in-between. I even went for a jog around the neighborhood.
Good to keep that level of fitness after your mud bath therapy on the weekend. I bet you look years younger.
