This weeks opening sentence is:
Do you remember that old saying, “X marks the spot?”
It’s a definite thing isn’t it an X I mean.
Well if you find it you can’t very well dispute the X can you?
Two lines intersecting.
Simple idea.
Then why can’t I find one?
Well there are plenty of X’s around here.
Yes but which one has the treasure below it.
That’s the question isn’t it? Which one?
And why bury the treasure and make up an enigmatic clue like that?
Maybe they didn’t want it to be found.
Why not?
Selfish bastards probably.
Or there is no treasure.
Could be nothing more than a tin can.
One man’s trash is another man’s treasure you mean.
Yes.
Be disappointing though wouldn’t it.

Hold on found something.
Dig down, dig down.
Oh my goodness would you just look at that.
It’s a ………..

What is it?!?! Love your take and thank you for participating in this week’s challenge! Stay tuned… ^..^
Thank you so much, what is it??? Well imagine………
My imagination is running rampant! 🙂
Great two-sided conversation here Michael 🙂 I know what is hidden. It was the cat. He’s perverse that way. He buries “it” and then sits in the tree above the spot waiting for unsuspecting treasure hunters and then sniggers.
I like that response Lyn, you could be onto something.
It reminds me of the new show that’s on now. They bury for treasure, a million dollars, unfortunately no X to mark the spot. 😊
Where’s the fun in having no X I ask you? Thank you for dropping by Jenny.
Actually there is a great deal isn’t there 😊 welcome mate.
It’s another X! LOL Well, you know it could be…..
Well, maybe it is……..I would find that a tad disappointing and a little frustrating to have to start all over again. Thanks Jackie for commenting as always.
