Tale Weaver – #313 – Finding Something Forgotten – February 4th

 It was love he found.

For so long forgotten, a fantasy from the past.

Life had taught him harsh lessons.

The idealism of youth, long beaten from him.

He’d wandered aimlessly,

Attempts to connect with others

Spurned.

He accepted being loved was not going to happen,

The wounds he bore were deep,

The pain acute.

It started so innocently.

An encouraging word

A nervous beginning.

They bonded, so much in common,

He found pleasure in her company.

He delighted in her telling him

She would be the last woman in his bed.

  3. I can’t seem to like your post for some reason but it’s a very sweet piece. Love can heal wounds and help scar fade can’t it
