This week’s words: Creole Alcohol Dredge Gravitation Deplorable Afterthought Materialize Newlywed Mystical Groundskeeper Wooden Box Resplendent

When Maisie Creole married Anton Dredge, it was a wedding to be remembered.

The newlyweds looked resplendent in their lime green suits, the alcohol flowed freely, and by night’s end, both were fairly sloshed.

Maisie had felt the force of gravitation towards Anton when she observed him as the head groundskeeper at the Community Croquet Club. Maisie was a keen player and thought it deplorable that before Anton came along the grounds they played on were of such poor standard.

As it turned out with Anton’s help, the club’s new and improved facilities materialized with his help and expertise.

Maisie found there was something mystical about Anton. She never thought of him as an afterthought but rather found time to compliment him of the excellent job he was doing.

So here she was on her wedding day, a newlywed, with plenty of alcohol in her system and full of love for her man Anton.

She received a small wooden box from her husband and upon opening it found it contained a love potion he had prepared for her.

The next morning she awoke, feeling she had participated in the most exhilarating dream of all time and looking over saw her man, sleeping with what she concluded was a resplendent smile of satisfaction on his lips.
