Marriage,
No clear road
More lopsided,
Morals scattered
Like an out of control locomotive
Disaster the only outcome.
All attempts of correcting wrongs
Resulted in misguided actions
Opinions were meaningless
Unless supporting one side.
Resolutions to revitalize only work one way
Rounded out to suit one protagonist
Only a screenwriter could imagine something worse.
Nothing eurhythmic about abusive chaos.

You do not paint a pretty picture of nuptial bliss. I take it that you have abandoned any thoughts of a second plunge into that ravine?
Its more an abyss for me.
Oh, the cautionary tale of a relationship bound by the society’s obligations and moralities can result into something poisonous after all. I liked this bit: “Resolutions to revitalize only work one way/Rounded out to suit one protagonist”. We are all the protagonists of our own lives and thus our perceptions are guided by our own biases and opinions.

That was also my favorite line. Some relationships can be so toxic and some people just bring out the worst in each other, instead of the best
