You wonder the stories within it,
did they like coming to Australia, did the summer heat surprise them
was the temperate winter a reason for the long sea voyage?

Good story – I like the connection between the old tree, standing so long, and ancestors witnessed by the tree. Made me think about – as in ‘ you don’t know what you’ve got til it’s gone’ – not learning about family members til they’ve gone, with regret.
