Holidays were about adventure even if it meant imagining you were putting your life in danger travelling vertical travellators to get from one spot to another.
As I live in a flat country, the prospect of riding a lift to the top of a mountain always filled me with trepidation.
When it stopped halfway, I found it hard to look down and the prospect of being stuck for any length of time was an unpleasant thought.
I clasped the souvenir I’d bought and knew it was the proof I needed to show I had been brave in making the ride.

I should have taken a closer look at the picture. I thought it was a train platform and I went with that. But it’s a pair of escalators. Yikes.
Don’t worry my first thought was a station too then I thought the angles didn’t say train station…but hey, its always go where the prompt takes you….there’s no wrong answers, I hope….
