On my back steps the tiny frog framed himself on the highlight strip. The strips were put there when my dad was alive to help him see the stairs.

Michael, I love the sentiment that you capture in this.
Thanks so much Annie.
I love entries like this. Beautifully framed a mundane subject! And your subject perfectly positioned itself! Lovely image. Color contrast also is nice. Thank you for joining the challenge. 🙂
Thank you the concept of the mundane just struck me as such a good idea…glad I can participate.
Thank you for saying that. 🙂
God bless ’em–your late father, and the little hopper 🙂 🙂
Thank you so much…
Most welcome always 🙂
Hello Mr. Froggy! I’d probably get startled and scream – scare him away. We are in process of moving, and we have empty boxes on our porch. It’s super hot, and I go out to grab a box for more items, and 3 days in a row, lizards have startled me (and I gasp/yelp) as they make running scratch sounds on the concrete (ack) Oh, it’s just a lizard (but I scare them half to death) And they are HUGE lately. Must be gettin’ some good grub lately.
I have always had skinks living in my yard. Today was a sunny day so one was out sunning itself. Normally they scurry away when I go near them but today this lizard, about 8/9 inches in length just sat there sunning itself….
don’t bother me, I’m enjoying the sun.
I like the beautiful horizontal bands of colour that the steps make. The frog breaks the monotony.
Thank you so much for stopping by to comment, much appreciated.
How cute and it blends in with the green stripes.
Thanks so much.
