Quote s above: “Sometimes your only available transportation is a leap of faith.”
You question, and so rightly so.
What if you say, what if and why not?
You don’t want to be wading upstream
You want to know
Where you stand
What they’ll say
Will they reject or accept you.
All good and perfect queries
In a world of uncertainty.
It must be hard to know if they’ll
Gift you or egg you.
Whilst we lock away our love, our feelings
Knowing who we are is safe and precious,
In their eyes I may be different
Not as available as right now,
But that is to be expected
I am not their slave, I too have a life.
Our lives have never been as floating balloons
But ones directed by the needs of others
So now we have a chance
To be ourselves, take that leap of faith
Grab hold and hang on tight.

thanks Micheal!
Wonderful interpretation of the collage. I love how you’ve woven these elements together, with a steadfast and softer “voice.” 🙂
Thank you so much, soft is always good.
Soft is totally underrated and under appreciated!

All good questions, we often are so codependent on others…. it’s very rewarding to say: ‘I am not their slave, I too have a life.’ and act accordingly.
Yes good comment thanks for contributing.
