There was so much to see in so few days. Twelve days of non-stop travel, sights to see people to meet.
It was all go and he loved the history of it all. The thought of standing upon hallowed ground once the domain of kings and queens fascinated him.
By the end of two weeks home called to him. In his mind was a list for his return visit.
Now he settled back into the normality of home. Restful days, time for himself, reflections on what he had seen.
Here he was himself, here he was at peace.

Lovely travel – gorgeous to come home again 🙂 Nice story.
Thanks Lynn have a great day.
Thanks Michael, and you 🙂
Nice story Michael. Mine follows similar thoughts. After vacationing around, home is the best place to be.
Thanks Mandi read and commented on yours, nicely done I agree with you.
It’s always nice to come home…especially when the money runs out 🙂
Sadly that is always sooner rather than later..
~sigh~ ain’t that the truth
I’m a firm believer in the notion that the more you travel the more you appreciate coming back to your own home. Those first few nights back always feel so fresh & new! It’s like sleeping in a hotel room again 🙂
Yes I agree home is where it feel safe, secure and warmest.
