Finish the story begins with: “Racing down into the atmosphere, the unidentified object crashed, leaving behind one heck of a huge crater and a plume of smoke that could be seen from miles around.”
The two green blobs looked around, the crater was impressive, the smoke a perfect screen.
This was their first visit to this planet. They knew from previous visits that it was inhabited by an odd two-legged creature only to happy to make a lot of noise when cornered.
The blobbier of the two blobs opened the door and peered out. He communicated in the manner of grunts and scratches.
The less blobbier blob scratched back, in a way that made your blood curdle.
They had a mission to fulfil. Two days to gather at least one of the creatures they came across and bring that being back to their home planet.
A being in a large yellow coat appeared at the edge of the crater. In a wink of an eye he was gone.
The blobs couldn’t believe their luck as they sailed quietly away into the universe.

Well I saw him s a man dressed in rescue gear, but I somehow doubt he’ll be exercising his rescue skills where he is going.

I love this amusingly blobby little story. The phrase ‘blobbier of the two blobs’ is hilarious.The man in the large yellow coat added an extra dimension, too. A colourful tale, all in all.
