did you know I have
an askew head
as I looked into the mirror
tonight to my amazement
there it was, a head not straight.
truth is
my glasses are dead straight
they sit rather oddly
at an angle I can’t fathom.
until I looked and saw
my head is all wrong.
this I say
as a warning
for should you ever
cross my path
you may be horrified to see
the man with straight as straight eye wear
upon his crooked head.

thanks for the warning mate 😉 hmm somethings a little askew in # 62…ok couldn’t help myself.
Ha…comedian eh…..lol..well be warned i say…
don’t worry I am…and yes funny ha ha (at times)
And now we know….. 🙂
Shhh…just keep it yourself…..glasses ugh…..another bane of my life, can’t do without them sadly….
I have glasses but only wear them when I wake and before I sleep. Other than that…contacts.
well i have two pairs at present, when one hurts my nose i change to the other i don’t seem to be able to have a happy compromise

Maybe you need a new pair and have them fit you 🙂
I have a new pair, I think its my askew head…lol
ha..didn’t they fit you before you bought them? Tell them to adjust the straight pair for your crooked head.
I have been several times…..I think my head is like plasticine and changes shape…lol…but they are ok at present
Oh dear, I ask you …
Yes Al you might ask me. Its a real dilemma i tell you…..lol…..
LOL! Great poem – individuality is a wonderful thing Michael, even if it comes from an askew head (or glasses!!) 🙂 🙂
Oh well I thought it best to warn any potential visitors….lol…Thanks for the comment.
I would guess many people have something about them that is either askew or asymmetrical. (Smiles.)
I thought it best to warn any folk whom I may meet….lol
LMAO!
Oh Michael – I am laughing with you & not at you. I have looked at myself in the mirror & if I stare too long – I sometimes start to laugh. My head is all wrong too. Oh well…
🙂 🙂
The trick RoSy is to not look for too long.
lol…oh treacherous glasses and mirror askew!
Sometimes Georgia, it is good to laugh at oneself.
Very true Michael. Sometimes it’s the best laugh in the end!
