Līgo Haibun Challenge – Word Prompt – Treasure

Sumerian_Treasure

My chosen word is Treasure

I am looking now and entranced in the beauty before me.

Never have I seen such magnificence.

Each jewel has been so polished,  the suns rays are reflected from a thousand different faces.

We are enthralled, held in our step as we survey the scene.

Each mind is dreaming of the impossible, the implausible, the unthinkable.

We breathe deeply, no one speaks, we stand transfixed by the this bounty that could be ours.

The riot of colours, the shades of green, the brilliance of lustre, captivates us we endeavour to take in the grandeur before us.

Brilliance of bounty

Enthrals and captivates us

The treasure ours.
