At bedtime fairies gathered around my bed to lull me to sleep with lullabies and stories of wonder and truth.
Sleep they crooned, sleep little one,
Tomorrow is an amazing day.

Can I borrow them? Although these days, they’d have to say “Sleep for once, Snarky Fat Broad! The bills and housework will still be there tomorrow!”
I’ll see if I can send them over. Funny you folk/s make me laugh.
Thanks for following my blog.
I am a huge fan of fairy tales 🙂
Thank you Anja, they are such fun to pay with though we had to be ‘nice’ in what we wrote this week. Have you read the two sentence horror stories?
Wait…its a whole week of nice? I thought just one prompt. Oops. ha I am afraid I have not read two sentence horror stories….should I mention I scare REALLY easy. lol
You can Google them, some are very clever…I thought of one as I wrote my story it goes something like: ‘Father is putting his daughter to bed and she says daddy there is something under my bed. The father looks under the bed and sees his daughter hiding there saying daddy there’s something in my bed.’
Oh I really love that one and it just triggers such a repeated image in my mind. I will look them up as soon as I figure out this ecstasy/illusion prompt. I have written 3 and they merged. UGH my mind

ha you are fast.
I really loved this one, something about the idea of flitting fairies dancing around the bed just made me smile.
Thanks I am glad you enjoyed my story.
I loved that last line. So full of hope and promise 🙂
Thanks Freya, lad you enjoyed it.
Nice lullaby with a great ending line.
Thank you Gabriella. Lovely as always to receive your comments.

I love the last line. What a wonderful thought to go to sleep with!
Thank you Janna that is a lovely comment, and yes it is a positive thought to go to sleep with.
Any fairies fluttering over me have to contend with my cats, so I don’t see them as often as I need!
This is a sweet story.
