Crimson’s Creative Challenge #162 – The Orange Throated Belly Warbler

Do you see it?

No! Where?

In the thicket. An Orange Throated Belly Warbler.

No! It can’t be.

I’m sure it is.

But they are as rare as hen’s teeth.

I’ve never been so sure of anything. I’m telling you if you look into the thicket you’ll see it.

I’ll put my glasses on, anything as significant as an Orange Throated Belly Warbler demands a closer and more fastidious observation.

So what do you think?

Definitely a Warbler. This is so exciting.

I saw my first one in the summer of 89.

I remember. You had your pink shirt on.

My lucky shirt I used to call it.

Yes and today you have on your beige one.

I’ll have to christen this one my lucky shirt now.

Did you get a photo?

Yes, I think it smiled for me.

Wonderful! They do that you know, smile for the camera.
