“Those people in that house through the trees, they’re spies,” said Mum as we sat to dinner.
“They are not,” replied Joe, “what makes you say that?”
“They’re shifty,” stated Mum, “I’ve been watching them. They come and go at all hours, and they drive a Lexus.”
“A Lexus? How dare they,” announced dad, “what sort of people must they be?”
“Rich ones,” I replied.
“Your mother is right, we have to watch them, never know what they might be up to,” said dad.
With that, mum and dad were at the window, binoculars at hand, in their sticky beak element.
