“You think here will do?”

“Are we far enough in?”

“He didn’t exactly say how far in we had to go, just inside the giant cave.”

“It’s a spooky place isn’t it?”

“Sure is.”

“Why did he pick this place?”

“He used to come here a lot. He called it his meditation cave.”

“I wouldn’t call it that, more the horror cave.”

“You have to admit it’s a quiet place. I could see him meditating here. Just look how peaceful it is looking up at those stalactites. Impressive, aren’t they?”

“I keep thinking one might break off and then where would we be?”

“No way. They’ve been there for thousands of years. It would be the worst luck if after all that time one fell down and landed on you.”

“Well come on let’s get this over and done.”

“Barney was a good man. He entertained us, was a good mate and we are here today to carry out his final wishes.”

“Pour him in and let’s get out of here. Oh, and don’t throw the urn in. His mum said she wanted it as a memento.”

“So that’s that. Farewell old mate, may you rest happily in this cave.”

“Beautifully said now can we go I keep imagining there is something watching us.”

“Don’t be silly there’s nothing in here besides us and Barney’s ashes.”

“I hope you are right but I have to say the water has a ripple in it that wasn’t there before.”

“You’re imagining things once again.”

“For God’s sake paddle, there is something there and it’s getting closer!”

“Gulp!”
