Wordle #129 – The Youngest of the Hall Brood

wordle-221

This week’s words: Boy Brood Localize Coil Dark Tremble Sphere Unmistakable Ruthless Stomach Contour Coastline

When the body of the boy was discovered the entire coastline was searched for clues as to what had happened to him.

The boy was the youngest of the Hall brood, a family well known more for their shady deeds than their generosity.

It became clear the crime was localized when evidence emerged of a coffee cup near the body belonging to the local Sphere café, an establishment owned by the rivals of the Halls, the Magees, a ruthless lot and the sort who had the stomach to take on the Halls.

The dead body had been discovered with a coil of wire around his neck and ankles, the contours of his body forever bent by the force of the coil.

In the dark hours after, his family gave a press conference with his trembling mother appealing for justice and his grieving father promising vengeance.

There was within the community the unmistakeable feeling that the boy’s death was just the beginning.
