Life is full of challenges,
From the moment we wake up of a morning
We are confronted by choice.
Choice is the labyrinth of life
There is not always a single decision to be made,
Wouldn’t it be easier if there was?
Making the wrong choice can lead us to certain doom,
Or if we’re lucky, success.
Along the way, we are challenged by such things as fear and uncertainty.
Often we stumble along, hoping for the best,
But the single factor holding us back
Is fear, our concern for getting it wrong.
We forget that through stuffing up
We grow, we learn, we become better,
Principally in ourselves,
And then to those around us,
And isn’t that the point of our journey through life?

It is indeed
Thanks so much
It is indeed the point Michael. Thank you for a perfect write, it reads as a gentle reminder to us all. We grow, we learn, we better ourselves.
Thanks Helene
🙂👍
This is very good Michael. I like the line “choice is the labyrinth of life” both catchy and altogether too true. Sometimes it’s the right direction, sometimes it’s not. Perhaps though right or wrong we can avoid the minotaur in a figurative way. Your lines “we grow, we learn, we become better” leave us in a happy place despite hardships, even Minotaur type problems.
Thanks Mandi for your lovely comment
Absolutely so 🙂
Full of thruth and insight Michael. I especially liked the admittance to the progress being first something we must see in ourselves before it becomes visible to others..
Thanks Violet, yes that is so often the difficult bit.
