On my first date with my girlfriend, I took her down to the marina where the best fish and chip shop in the universe could be found.

We settled ourselves on a seat overlooking the multi-million dollar yachts and started on our lunch. Within seconds the pesky seagulls descended as if expecting we would share our lunch with them.

My new girlfriend thought it fun to throw a chip to one which began a frenzy of feeding and the intrusion of several hundred gulls all expecting the same morsel.

It got so we had to pack up and head indoors.
