Choices
“Its all about choices,” she said serving me up her ratatouille with enough chilli in it to set fire to the room we were in.
“Then I choose to not eat it and set my mouth on fire.” I replied taking a frozen burger from the freezer.
“Then you are a wimp, eating is about new experiences. Your taste buds may react but that’s normal, you’ll get used to the flavour and the burn is not life long.”
“I prefer not to have my taste buds assaulted as they will from eating this stuff.”
“Your choice and your loss,” she said scooping a large amount into her mouth and showing me her face going red with obvious pleasure.

I always wanted to try ratatouille.
Its a delicious dish but I lived with a woman who insisted the only way to eat it was to lace it with large amounts of chilli. And I’m talking about a woman who could the things like you might an apple.
I don’t blame you for choosing to not eat overly hot, spicy foods. I prefer foods that don’t burn going in…and coming out!
I know what you mean
I guess spicy isn’t always fun. Thanks for sharing your hot story. 🙂
