   I’ve had a blog sincethey began… Way back before smart phones and social media existed. When it started, it was all about writing. It still is for me. I don’t understand the need to “generate followers.” i don’t understand the need to post photos on Facebook and get 1000 “likes” for each photo, either.

     I agree totally with you, mine is for me and I don’t care about followers any more as only a handful of you good people ever stop by. I love the writing process so that’s what I do. As for FB it exists for a few friends and family.
