It was an opportunity to visit with my great-grandparents who were pleased I could stop by. Grandfather was keen to know what changes I had made to his house even though he’d been dead nearly 90 years. I outlined my efforts.
He listened and nodded his approval then said, “Times have changed.”

It would be lovely to live in the house I grew up in. My bedroom would make the most wonderful office. A whole wall of windows letting in plenty of light 😀
