My house is a building site this week with my kitchen being renovated, given a face lift so I found some roses, I do like roses. These are my ‘black roses’ with their delightful turkish delight aroma along side a rose I pinched from my neighbour’s garden.
So I sat them in a small vase to brighten the place and look out over the view behind my house.
You steal from your neighbour? Haha 😀
Well they are away and I’m looking after their place and feeding their old dog. They won’t know if you don’t tell them.
My lips are sealed.

Are you going to post a photo of the newly renovated kitchen?
Hmm well maybe if and when we finish. It’s a big job.
LOL it would probably take about an hour to renovate my kitchen, wall to wall it’s only 6 foot by 6 foot. Definitely can’t get two people in it. But, there’s only me, so I don’t need a walk-in pantry 🙂
Mine is an old house Lyn, no wall is straight, its been a trial in lots of ways…
Keep sane and quietly carry on – during the renos – and clearly when pinching flowers 😉 LOL – seems a shame to let the beauty go to waste, so why not try to brighten up the days?
Yes exactly. Though caring for my neighbours place and their old dog I figure they won’t miss the odd flower as they have plenty.
very true …. 🙂

I literally fell for an Autumn picture. The unintentional picture was better than my attempts at late blooming window boxes and almost ripe tomatoes. So wot I “shot” was my knee and ankle too. Ouch. Oh the sacrifice for art, lol . . .
The roses are lovely — hope the reno goes smoothly and you will be thoroughly modern when finished.
Well we are getting there…..glad you are not too injured…
Yes, as usual I went down on one knee and one hand — no lasting marks! I am forever taking unintentional pictures — usually of my hand, pants pocket, blurry images of the ground, etc. etc. etc.
Well they are perfect for my Wednesday prompt. Though I don’t expect you to make a fall each week.
