This week’s write:
Your story from the point of view of Death personified.
I’m so misunderstood. I want to be a beginning not an end. I feel so depressed. The old souls welcome me, feed up with living if you call incapacity living. One old soul cursed me, that was exciting. Mostly it’s the humdrum of death, same shit different day, as you might say. (52 words)

Great write Michael!
Thanks so much Kitty..
Welcome Michael 🙂
Great take Michael!
Thanks Ritu it was good seeing you on the bloggers bash video. Now I have a face to the name.
Aw thanks Michael!
Blog world is so anonymous isn’t it. It’s rare to see people’s faces let alone their real names.
True but then you build up a trust, and a community and everyone becomes real!
Yes that trust is important.
Truly!
I think we all sneakily feel sorry for him! Great post Michael.😉
Yes even death can have dreams🤓
Very true and problems! 🤗
Wonderful! Loved the line “one old soul cursed me, now that was exciting” – cryptic humour! LOL
Well as you know death is a cousin to the angels, in a manner of speaking and I would think he’d be feeling a bit down from time to time….Terry Pratchett wrote the best novel on death called “Mort” where death takes on an apprentice, wonderfully funny.
LOL – yeah, and coming from Pratchett? well, I can bet it’s a scream! now must make note and seek that out for some most excellent reading – thanks Michael 🙂
oh, and I forgot to say “death is a cousin to the angels” – now that’s a prompt in itself!
most interesting …
LOVE the perspective of a depressed death, awesome entry. Thank you
