Word-High July: Kundiman

july-20

Songs of love are easy

She loves me yeah yeah yeah,

We rattle them off

Trite and cliché ridden.

Some words matter

Chords resonating

Memories fueling lyrics

To mark that one wet day

We watched the rainbow

Wondering where ours might end.
