Somedays they argue
Like children with a single toy.
I can do it better says one over the other.
It’s the curse, or advantage of having
A male and female muse.
Either way there’s a part of me that decides
Today she will win over him.
I am blessed I can work with either
But I couldn’t exist with neither.

Your muses inspire your writing so well, no matter the bickering as to who wins today.
Thank you so much….settling them is often an issue…
You are a good referee then. But I suppose 6 kids helps with those skills. 🙂
awww. those last two lines are beyond wonderful!!!! GREAT! 😀
Thank you Rose, I just couldn’t be who I am without them… 🙂
awwww. that’s so sweet!
Oh how I LOVE this–dueling Muses!!!
Thank you Stella, thankfully its not an every day thing…
Yes…you’d never get anything done!
Interesting thought about having an inner conflict between muses. My muses would be too busy arguing over whether I should eat a whole bag of cheese puffs or not.
Lol
There’s nothing like arguing muses to remind one of the fact that there are two sides to every story. Writing it both ways would be a thought. Have a blessed day.
Thanks Suzanne yes two ways of seeing any situation.
You’re welcome.
Great and wonderful post – and how well and fascinating that you can be blessed in so many ways – without too much refereeing. 😀
