Word-High July: Kaulayaw

july-17

You arrived in confusion

A stranger in a strange land

Held my hand, I was comfort

The only comfort you wanted.

Already I loved you for you.

On cool evenings

We watch sunset’s

Blaze of colour highlight

The distant trees.

We wrap our arms

Around one another

Professing our love.

We are pleasant and intimate companions.

  2. It is nice to have someone waiting when you arrive in unfamiliar surroundings. It helps one to feel safe and the other person knows that they are needed. Have a blessed day.

  3. David E. McClendon Sr. says:

This is a very nice poem. It is always great to have the one you love with you in uncharted, by you, waters.
