You said your son’s an artist?
Yes.
And this is art?
Yes, he says we are now part of his installation.
For how long?
The month he says.
A MONTH?
Yes for the length of the exhibition.
But I have a life.
So do I but he needs our help he says.
On all fours? A month?
He’s such a nice boy how could I say no?
What are we meant to be?
We’re illustrating the power and strength of parenthood.
Good grief!
It could be worse.
How?
It could be two months.
We must have words with him!!

Oh this one is 5-Star, Michael–I’ll probably include it in my August “monthly share”, if you don’t mind 🙂 I have to read it over and over because it sums up what good parents are all about…I just love this, it makes me happy 🙂
Thank you Stella, I would be flattered if you did share it…..
Thanks, Michael–I’m just crazy for it, so I’ll add it to my August list 🙂
Thank you Stella.
Welcome 🙂
Ha! Once again I will state…..I am so glad I didn’t have kids! 😉
You’ll never know what you missed out on…lol…I had gkids here last night it was all noise I can tell you….
Oh I bet it was all noise! Which you love. 🙂
Has Lucas asked you to be part of any of his installations?
Thankfully NO!!! He doesn’t do such things now days too busy making huge pieces for an up coming exhibition in September…
Just wondering if it was the voice of experience. Hope his exhibition goes well.
He did such things in younger days but now days his focus is on different things. I put a pic on my FB of his latest work…
That looks decidedly painful–even if the box is empty, my knees would give out after about 2.12 seconds (if that).
Good thing he didn’t ask you..lol….thanks for stopping by…
The things we do for love of our children 🙂
Good thing this isn’t a real life tale! Sheesh! Great write though – and hysterical image!
Yes could test all manner of friendships couldn’t it…..then again having an artistic child is often a challenge anyway….thanks Pat, have a good day…
you too Michael 🙂
☺️
👍
Love this story about the burdens of parenthood.🙂
Thank you Michael…some days are a real burden…but mostly its a fun ride…
