Word-High July: Timpi

july-2

The front door slams

We sit up in horror

Clothes in disarray

Quickly we rearrange

Desperate to not be caught

Guilt written on our faces

We think of control

Of hands across the chest.

Maybe tomorrow?

Michael, a wonderful take and poem on the word Timpi. Reading it transported me back 40 years to my youth.
