Its early morning
The sun is on the horizon.
A soft light filters through the curtains.
Outside the avian chorus
Sings joyously in unison
Their own song of the dawn.
I look across and watch you
Sleeping, at peace with yourself.
Your beauty stuns me at this hour
The morning shadows highlight
The delights in knowing and loving you.
Against the cool I snuggle against you.
Your back arches into me
Our hands clasp,
I hear you murmur hello.
We soak in each other
You smile in delight
As my lips brush your skin.
Turning you look at me
Smile and we kiss.
Our day begins……
