Tuesday’s Photo Prompt #47 – February 10 – I See You All Around Me

I see you all around me

The winter snow never chills me

As once it did.

You take me into your arms

Guarding against the cold

You are shelter and nurture.

I see you all around me

In summers heat

Along a sweeping beach,

As water swirls

Around your ankles

You cry in delight at

The unsuspecting cold.

When I don’t jump out of the way of a cold Atlantic wave and it wraps itself around my ankles, my squeal/scream is not one of delight!
    Lovely poem.

  3. You are shelter and nurture…. that is a lovely feeling. I’m blessed to have that as well.

Nurturing feeling, very sensual piece, like it.
