Again he climbed the steps.

Responsibility outweighing the pain of his labour.

Forty years, sunset to sunrise.

Maybe he thought I’m a bit long in the tooth to continue any longer.

    I am very fortunate in that I work in an academically selective high school, great kids, great place to go each day, lots of wonderful things happen. Plus I think they like me!

    I love the phrase “responsibility outweighing the pain of his labor” It says everything about him. I really liked your take and I bet it won’t be long before you have 100 followers and more! 😀

      Thank you for your comment (how do I address you? ‘Cut’ doesn’t seem appropriate and ‘crap’ is a bit rude). As for using the same expression as me, well great minds they say.
