
Write a day in the life of a pair of shoes – your protagonist IS the shoes.
Its Thursday and I am awaiting his rising. Socks go on, and I slip on his feet ready for a day’s trudging. My shape is losing its once trendy appeal. I know my days are numbered as the stitching is breaking away. I’m tired, I’ll be glad when he bins me forever.

I’d hate to think what my shoes must feel about me.
Depends how you treat them. Give them a good airing and a polish every so often 😀
Now that I’m retired, the only shoes I wear are sneakers (or what are advertised as “walkers.” So polishing them is not an option. As far as airing them out, I do that every night when I go to bed.
And if you feel good together what more could your shoes ask for
