Word-High July: Siping

july-15

Weary day

So many words, so many miles

You lay beside me exhausted

Your eyes heavy

You look at me

We exchange that look

When words fail us

It’s the look and soft touch

That says it all.

Lovely words Michael. It captures that moment at the end of a hard day when you lie next to a loved one, look into their eyes, and realise it was all worth it.

  3. This is very nice, Michael. Have a blessed day.
