2016 April PAD Challenge: Day 3 – Three Days

73645-couple-on-bed

For today’s prompt, take the phrase “Three (blank),” replace the blank with a word or phrase, make the new phrase the title of your poem.

Three Days

Day one: Nervous polite words

The farmyard and the weather

The usual chit chat.

Day two: We shared a joke,

Laughed together, sat closer

Felt each other’s warmth.

Day three: We made love

Bodies entwined

Mouths engaged, giving so willingly.

I want more of Day three

More of you

More of us.

  1. Beautiful. I’d want more of day 3 too.

  2. Geoff's avatar Geoff says:

Love this piece along with your recent ‘surement vous plaisantez’. It is Autumn with Winter approaching yet it seems you are returning to Spring.

  3. And who would be the lucky lady, beautiful words Michael.

Please feel free to comment, I appreciate your thoughts.
