Words falling
Floating away
Grab one
At least
The yellow
The red
Fondle the fuchsia
Three sticks are better than two
Three arms
Play
Naughty
Career choices.
A ramble is better than a stroll
Purple impresses
Stains
Putrefies
Take hold
Brown paper bags
A plenty
Rain on my head
Soaked
In crap
Hesitation
Colours blending
Caress the green
Kisses on chocolate
When at rest
Home again
Home again
Only the lonely
Know pain
Dum dum dum dum dum di do wah.

Having fun with a Paul Anka song….love it!
Thanks Kathy but it was the Roy Orbison song I was thinking of.
hopefully the rain washes off a bit of the crap? smiles.
only the lonely indeed…nice beat to end on too.
Thank you brian, glad you caught that beat.
i think we’ll all agree kissed on chocolate is sweet
Thank you and yes you would think so.
I am afraid I do not know the Paul Anka song Katy mentions but I still enjoyed the images you created. I wouldn’t mind kisses on chocolate even if chocolate kisses are probably even better. And I am sure ‘three sticks is better than two’.
See the song link above. Thanks Gabriella for reading and your comment. I am sure you are right about the sticks.
I’m thinking that it was a Roy Orbison song, or Anka sang a cover for it, or vica-versa; still the fun you had with the words was contagious, like the active lines /purple impresses/stains/putrefies/.
Thanks Glen yes it is the Roy Orbison song, one from my childhood. I appreciate your comment.
Nice, I like the use of colors specially purple ~ Only the lonely know the pain, this ends like a song ~
Well spotted Grace and thanks for your lovely comment.
Hmm. Only the lonely for sure. But kisses on chocolate should compensate. 😉
Love that song!
Thanks RoSy, it was a good way into the challenge.
I think that fondling a fuchsia is a sure cure.
I think that’s a good idea Bjorn. Thanks for visiting.
This poem has a nice melodic beat to it. I like its colorful ramble, and oh the kisses on chocolate!
Kisses on chocolate my favourite line and of course the last line made me smile.
Thank you Jenny, happy to see you dropping by.

I am not sure of these four lines were meant to flow together or just to stand by themselves, but as a writer they spoke to me as one thought. If I don’t write something down as I think of it, it often flows away and is gone! Enjoyed reading this.
Spot on Ginny thanks so much for dropping by.
