What are you thinking?
I was wondering if I’ll be brave enough.
One day you will.
But I’m running out of time. I can’t dilly-dally round forever.
You have to be patient.
I have this urge to do it sooner rather than later.
You really think you will.
I have to. For my sake.
It’s a long way.
I know.
You might not like what you find.
That’s a risk I have to take.
But you might find madness.
I’m mad. I’ll feel at home.
You are not mad.
I might as well be.
You want me to come?
Of course.
I’d have to change a few things to accommodate you.
You wouldn’t mind?
No. It will be nice to be with you.
I feel safe with you.
When do you think we can do this?
Anytime we want.
Anytime?
Anytime.
Ok, You might not like me.
It’s all about risks isn’t it?
I guess so.
You keep looking out there.
It’s about moments isn’t it, the moments we make decisions, the moments we say life-changing things.
Put down the phone, my love and go book a flight.

🙂 you got me. Nice little piece my friend…wouldn’t it be lovely to fly off into the sunset *sighs*
A ‘rare’ moment of romanticness RM. Thanks for reading.
That’s an awesome story. I love it.
The start of something new.
Thank you Alastair, that’s very kind of you.

Like the perfect synchronization between the couple. They seem to complement each other. well told
Thank you Padmini, I did enjoy this one.
awwww Wasn’t sure where this would end but lovely of course.
Thank you Anja.I think RM had a similar concern about the ending. What were you thinking?
No concerns. 🙂 I try not to let my mind jump ahead of the lines I’m reading because I want to enjoy what the writer is setting up. I follow and when I looked up was not expecting where it ended. I enjoyed the ending.
Ok. I’m just curious where the reader thinks its going, but I like what you have said about ‘enjoying what the writing is setting up’ nicely put.
I know when I write, each word is placed for a reason. So I want a reader to take it in a word at a time and not scurry ahead. So when I read I give the same respect. I want to experience it like the writer created.
That’s the attitude of a true artist Anja, I am the same. Hence my familiarity with the ‘d’ word. That process of making it exact is what I like so much.
Lets not start on that ugly “d” word. I know what I want to say so just open heart and pour out. Then ADHD kicks in and I get distracted. “D” word is step my mind doesn’t get.
K……..could be ugly eh?
Very!!! Don’t wake the ADHD
Lips are sealed, i’ll rip that letter from my keyboard.
Ha that might not work well for you!
No. I am more attached to it than you….lol
Mine probably looks brand new. The delete button and myself have an understanding. Like an ex husband. Lol
hahahaha, if only i could use mine on my ex!!
Hahaha there are not many options for ex’s as easy as delete.
Tell me about it.
The ending of a long distance relationship and a new beginning. I actually thought it was perhaps the sun talking to the moon. The beginning of the universe – The Big Bang. Right up until those last few lines. Fun piece.
Not sure where the Dixie Saga is going…I’ll have to wait for the prompt 🙂
Hello Jules, thanks for that comment.sun and moon eh, that’s a bit deep for me..lol.
Your saga is at the mercy of the prompts, I think that must be a challenge in itself.
I Have enjoyed your story from beginning to end!
Thanks Gabriella, I did enjoy writing this one. Something of me in there.
