Message.
This weekend, the Trifecta team have supplied us with these three words –
– ring
– water
– stage
We need to add another thirty and send back a total of thirty three for their delight and delectation.
The bath water was almost run when the phone rang. At that stage I had not decided to go out but the message compelled me urgently out the door.
What a lot of mystery behind these words, I want to know more!
Well at 33 words a chapter its going to take years. Can either of us sustain the interest? Thanks for the comment, I hope you are well.
Better aim for a short story than a novel! 🙂
I am well thanks. I hope you are too!
I am ok.Thank you for asking. I think every piece I write is a short story in the making. One day maybe.
And then? And then?
Well the next thirty three I hope will reveal something. Could take years at that rate. Plot does suffer in so few words but then again you the reader can use your imagination.

Thank you I am flattered by the ping back. Wow that is so cool.
Argh. That phone ringing in the bath moment. Why is it so cold when you get out?!
Thank you for your comment Freya. Sadly the cold is one of the sure things in life.
I hope you remembered to turn the taps off 😉
Danm I knew there was something I forgot…oh I’ll thank you for your comment and run back and check.
Good Lad 🙂
Lad? I am flattered!
🙂
wonder what that msg was ?
Yes I wonder that as well. Thanks for the comment.
This reminds me of the current news story of the woman who died because she answered her charging phone just after stepping out of the tub. Random thought. 🙂 Thanks for linking up and leaving us wanting more.
Thank you for the comment. This is a great challenge.
Great start. Leaves just enough of a tease to make us want more.
Thanks for the comment. Yes I wonder where this one might go.
good thing s/he hadn’t stripped down yet. 🙂
Thanks Barbara, well we shall never know….but you wonder don’t you.
